LARA EVENTS

2007 LARA ANNUAL MEETING

 The 2007 LARA annual meeting was held September 15, 9:00 at the Breezy Point City Hall.   

The meeting included:

• Budget and audit report
• Committee reports
• Election of board members and officers
• Discussion of the DNR dock forums held in various locations around the state
• Amendments to by-laws
• Lara's role in the Crow Wing Count Water Plan education efforts
• Water Warrior awarded to Sandra Holm

BOARD MEETINGS

The LARA board generally meets once a month, year round, usually on the first Tuesday of the month.  Meetings are held at 4:00 PM in the Crow Wing County Soil and Water Conseration District conference room at 7118 Clearwater Road, Baxter, MN.

Meetings are open to the public.  However, before attending, please contact the LARA secretary to verify the time and place.
